Kevin Teasley, Founder and President of the GEO Foundation and CSSC, Teasley, long a visionary in the field of education reform, also has a successful track record of managing staff and resources. He has extensive experience in and knowledge of education reform issues and a large network of national supporters. Prior to his work at GEO, Teasley was president of the American Education Reform Foundation and Council, an advocacy organization for parental empowerment policies in K-12 education. He has also served in public affairs for the Los Angeles based Reason Foundation and the Washington, D.C. based Heritage Foundation. Teasley possesses a B.A. in political science and journalism from Indiana University.
 
Dana Johnson, Vice President and General Counsel of the GEO Foundation, serves as the chief architect of many of the Charter School Service Center programs. With both an MBA and a law degree from Indiana University, Dana oversees all of the business, legal, and operational aspects of the GEO Foundation and 21st Century Charter Schools.  These responsibilities give her first-hand insight into the business and operational needs of charter schools.  Dana also serves as an elected member of her home town school board.  Prior to joining the GEO Foundation, she operated her own solo law firm specializing in helping special needs students and their families on a variety of educational issue.  Dana is licensed to practice in the state of Indiana, and in the Northern and Southern Indiana Federal District Courts.

Melanie Dozier serves as the Associate Director of the Charter School Service Center. She has over twelve years of experience in non profit/association management, meeting/event planning, member services management and sponsor recruitment.  Before coming to CSSC, Melanie managed affiliate associations and certification programs for the Municipal Association of South Carolina, an organization representing the 270 cities in South Carolina. She also served as Public Relations Director for two school districts and Director of Training for the South Carolina Association of School Administrators. Melanie earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of South Carolina and is currently pursuing a Master of Public Administration degree through the National Urban Fellows program.
